When life "treats" you with a good few blisters on your feet, treat them with band-aids!!!

Well not really a thought but more of an observation : In most of the love stories written by men, either the hero or the heroine have to die in order to make their love real. The concept of "happily-ever-after" is not exclusively for women is it?

My very clever baby sister thinks that celebrities don't really die- they just fake it to increase their value!!!

People want new answers but they never ask new questions.

It is funny how these days characters in movies want a life like the ones in movies. Oh! whatever will become of us mortals who live in the physical world. 

One among the many moments of sorrow in a woman's life is when she realizes that her skinny jeans don't fit her as well as they used to. :P

When there is no work in office: Sleeping and playing catch are not options :(.....until you make good friends

My City Sky

Everyday I hear people all around me constantly complaining about the weather. Everyone lets out regular "OOFs" and "ARGHs", I do too when it gets unbearable, but I have to take one look at the sky and I feel like its all worth it,  the sweat during monsoons and the tanning during summers and the nose freezing during winters. I can sit for hours and stare at the sky ( I have no explanation for my behavior). There is just something about it, maybe its the natural beauty or maybe it's vastness. I am amazed every time I gaze up at the sky because it envelopes the world and is still so free, without bounds. I love how it is filled with big fluffy, cottony clouds during monsoons, I always imagine myself sitting on them and eating apples for some reason, my idea of heaven I guess.

Ever since I was little I have loved talking to the stars in the Summer sky, they shine the brightest and give you the feeling that they are watching over you. Winter is the time when the Sky is in a playful mood and wants to play hide and seek with you, it covers itself  in a blanket of mist and fog and you have to wait long enough for the Sun to come out and scold Mist and Fog to go back home after playing all night.

I love the Sky and everyone who is close to me knows how obsessed I am with clicking pictures of it whenever I can, but I know for sure that I am not the only one, anyone who takes the time to look at it every now and then loves it just as much. So throw you head back today and fall in love with the beauty of it all.

La Dolce Far Niente

I came across this term while watching "Eat.Pray.Love" (honestly i never got through the book, it was just too depressing). La Dolce Far Niente is an Italian saying which means "the sweetness of doing nothing". I believed that at this phase of my life, when I am looking for work, I am basically doing nothing but when I look at how much I have gained in these few days by finishing the books I had bought a long time ago but never had the time to finish or by meeting new people and making new friends while catching up with the old ones; I now believe there is no such thing as nothing. The perception of nothing depends on what you believe it to be.

Bleh

Until today I have been a silent observer of blogs, because personally I love the traditional paper and ink method of expressing ideas and thoughts. However, with a sudden change of heart for no apparent reason i feel like blogging. 
I read in today's paper that our very own Mr.Kapil Sibbal asked "Where? In which country has the Prime Minister been questioned about his action" (well those were not his exact words but this the gist of it). I ask "Where? In which country is the Prime Minister so indecisive and does absolutely nothing after witnessing so much corruption?"
Moving onto a lighter topic: "I WANT FROZEN YOGURT!!!!"
